Stellar Tarot — Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 22, 2026. This policy covers the Stellar Tarot app for Android and Windows, made by Niagara Indie Apps. It applies to both editions: the one on Google Play and the one downloaded from niagaraindieapps.com. Stellar Tarot is designed to work entirely on your device. It does not need an account or an internet connection for any tarot feature.

Your settings, favorite cards, saved readings (including any question, name, or notes you choose to enter), custom spreads, and Daily Card history are stored only on your device. The app does not upload them anywhere.

Stellar Tarot contains no advertising, no analytics, no crash-reporting services, and no location tracking. It does not use your contacts, camera, microphone, or files.

The Google Play edition is fully unlocked and never contacts our servers. It sends no data about you or your device anywhere. The app lists the internet permission because the same code also powers the website edition's license check. The Google Play edition does not use it.

The edition downloaded from niagaraindieapps.com is free to try for 3 days. To keep using it, you buy a license and activate it in the app. When you activate a license, and when the app occasionally re-checks it, the app sends the following to our license server at niagaraindieapps.com: • your license key • a random device ID that the app creates when it's installed (not a hardware or advertising ID) • the platform (Android or Windows) and the app version Our server stores a one-way hash of that device ID, the platform, the app version, and when the device was activated and last checked. It also records the IP address of each license request in a license activity log. We use this only to verify your license, enforce its limit of 2 devices, and prevent license abuse. No reading content, questions, names, or journal notes are ever sent.

Licenses are bought on niagaraindieapps.com. The information you give at checkout (such as your email address) is covered by the site-wide Privacy Policy at niagaraindieapps.com/privacy. Card payments are processed by Stripe, and we never receive your full card number.

If you share or print a reading, the app passes it to the app or printer you choose on your device. Nothing is shared unless you do this yourself.

Uninstalling Stellar Tarot deletes everything it stored on your device. To deactivate a device from your license, or to ask us to delete the license records we hold, contact us as described below.

Stellar Tarot is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children.

If a future version of Stellar Tarot changes how it handles data, we will update this page before that version is released.
